Athira Kuriakose graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India, in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in physiotherapy. Afterward, she worked as a physiotherapist for 3 years in both private and public health setups, providing treatment to patients across different age groups and with various conditions. During this time, she developed a keen interest in treating a diverse range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, including acute and chronic cases, as well as patients undergoing post-surgical rehabilitation. She also gained proficiency in manual therapy and exercise prescriptions.
Her patient-centered approach aims not only to alleviate pain but also to improve overall functional abilities.
