Danielle Reid is a Registered Psychotherapist who provides a calm, collaborative, and individualized approach to therapy. She is committed to creating a supportive environment where individuals can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at a pace that feels comfortable and respectful. Her work is grounded in the values of safety, trust, and meaningful therapeutic connection, with a particular interest in trauma work and the mind–body connection.
Danielle holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and has experience in both group practice and correctional settings. Her background includes supporting people through chronic pain, emotional distress, substance use, trauma, and personal growth. She integrates a range of evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, parts work, somatic practices, Polyvagal Theory, CBT, and DBT, tailoring each session to individual needs.
Danielle works with adults and teenagers, providing a warm, collaborative, and client-centered approach to care. She supports individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, relationship challenges, and emotional wellness concerns. Danielle is passionate about helping clients build resilience, develop practical coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change. She strives to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to achieve their personal goals and improve their overall well-being.
